June 15-19

Well, well, well!!

It was such a busy week here is grade 5.

The grade 5s participated in tie-dying their t-shirts for the celebration on June 24th. They also painted a beautiful Northern Lights scene on canvas as a departing gift paid for by School Council (Thank You School Council)!

As well, the students finished presenting their Literacy Expert Stations which is always entertaining.

All of the grade 5 students finished signing the Grade 5 Legacy Tree Pot (again supplied by School Council), which is funded by all of the fundraising opportunities at Northern Lights School.

Lastly, in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, we made bannock with our grade 2 learning buddies and shared it together.
